Just a quick update

Hey all.

Just thought you'd like an update in my life's happenings. I've been here at Ball for 6 months now, and my contract is up for renewal. It has been approved, but I found out my contracting agency had an "accounting error" and had been overpaying me 3.50/hour for the past 6 months. So now while this is in negotiation, I take a 3.50/hour pay cut, and there's no guarantee I'll get it back. Awesome, isn't it?

In other news, my best bud c0ld phuz10n is off to Japan! He got accepted for a distance learning in a record-setting two days! This is good news for all, since he will be able to visit the one place he's died to for ever, and I'm going to send him with a grip of cash to get me tons of stuff. Do I hear "THE EVER ELUSIVE GRAPE POCKY"? I think I do! Ubergratz go out to c0ld for this awesome opportunity! He'll be leaving June 22, and will be out for about 6 weeks. Last weekend, I went back to church. A new church, in a new city, in a new state. It felt great. Not quite what I was used to, but the people immediately embraced me and I already feel like part of the family. Even though I'm divorced and have had some really troubled times, they hold nothing against me. This is exactly what I've been needing for a long time. Plus, I met this awesome redhead. I'm quite attracted to her on many levels, and I hope to get to know her much better over the next few weeks/months/etc...

So, that's my update. Working like crazy, fighting off a cold, I'm still here alive and kicking.
